“The Salda Lake Special Environmental Conservation Area Management Plan” Project
Salda is one of the most important lakes of our country with its unique lake ecosystem. However, the human influence and development around the lake makes it necessary to take urgent measures for the Lake.
“The Salda Lake Special Environmental Conservation Area Management Plan” project is carried out on behalf of General Directorate for Protection of Natural Assets of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, with the aim of protecting the natural beauties, historical and cultural resources and biodiversity in the Salda Lake Special Environmental Conservation Area, which is under human pressure, and ensuring the economic development of the region within the framework of sustainability.
Within the scope of the project, the studies carried out in the area in order to prepare the Salda Lake Special Environmental Protection Area Management Plan will be compiled, the biological, socio-economic and cultural aspects of the area will be analyzed, the management plan book will be prepared and then monitoring, informing and awareness raising activities will be carried out.
